Monark Equipment Corp is inviting all teammates to participate and showcase their creativity by sending their entries for the very first digital design dressed-up contest. MECO will be showcasing CAT® 320GX during the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City. The dressed-up unit will be displayed in the yard as well as at one major event that the company will be sponsoring during the weeklong celebration.

Kadayawan Festival is the Davao Region’s most anticipated festival of the year every August. It is a form of thanksgiving for the gifts of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest, and the celebration of life in general.

MECHANICS:

Prizes:

  • Two (2) winners of Sodexo GCs worth Php 2,500.00
  • One (1) winner of Sodexo GCs worth Php 15,000.00 (Grand Prize)

Guidelines:

  • Entries will be judged based on their visual appeal that showcases a great interpretation of the Kadayawan Festival, Davao’s culture/tradition, originality, color combination, and incorporation of Monark Core Values.
  • The CAT® logo & the model “320GX” should still be visible and well incorporated in the design.
  • Design entries should show five (5) machines sides (Top, two (2) side views, front and back). Download 320GX images here: bit.ly/320GXPhotos
  • Rendered digital design should be flat on all sides and has no protruding elements
  • The contest is open to all Monark Teammates (Philwide) and to all MFI students.

Submission:

  • Design entries may be submitted via email to kggiray@monark-cat.com
  • Subject: 320GX_Design_Contest_Lastname_Firstname_Department
  • The file to be submitted should be in .jpeg/.png format for evaluation but participants should be ready to provide the layered file to produce the actual design
    (.eps, .psd or .pdf).
  • The deadline for submission is on June 16, 2023 (3:00 PM).

Intellectual Property:

  • Participants confirm their submissions are their work, have not been copied from others, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
  • All submitted entries can be used by MECO for any purposes, including, but not limited to, display on social media/ website and other materials.
  • MECO will acquire the ownership and shall have the right to adapt, edit, modify, or otherwise use the winning entry in part or its entirety in whatever manner it deems appropriate and if needed to finalize the 320GX machine design.
  • MECO reserves the right to choose not to use the winning entry as described in these contest guidelines for whatever reasons or limitations the company may encounter during the process.
  • If the winner is determined to have violated any rules, he/she will be required to forfeit or return the prize, even if the determination is made after the prize has been awarded.
